How To Get Financial Support to Get To The Summit

You’ve been thinking about joining us and the 100 attending filmmakers for a jam-packed weekend but you've been hesitant to sign up because of financial considerations? Don’t let living outside of London and a tight purse stop you! We are all in the same boat, after all when have you ever heard of a cash-rich Indie Filmmaker?

To show how seriously committed we are to aid the independent sector, we've done some research ourselves on your behalf and approached all these organisations..

Let us summarise the findings for you, these are the funds you can apply to for some financial assistance:

Screenskills - Bursaries

Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund - CTBF - The Going Places Fund

Wales - Horizon’s fund

Wales - Welsh Broadcast Trust

Scotland - Professional Development Fund

If you are a documentary filmmaker, it can be a good idea to get touch with Doc Society and ask for their support. They have limited funds, but committed to help wherever they can.

For general support get in touch with Film London, BFI Network and all the regional Hubs.

Let us know if you need any further support and we’ll do out best to make it possible for you to join us.

In the meantime, we promise you exiting panels back to back and the hottest industry experts out there who are currently working in the field. Go to the schedule and speaker line up to see it for yourself!
