Claire's debut feature, Make Up premiered in the First Feature competition at the BFI London Film Festival, 2019 and will be released by Curzon in the UK next year. The film stars Bafta-winner Molly Windsor (BBC's ) and was produced by Emily Morgan ( ) with the BFI, BBC Films and Creative England through the iFeatures scheme.
Claire was chosen as a Screen Star of Tomorrow 2019. Her four short films have played at more than 50 festivals worldwide and have been awarded multiple prizes. Her previous work also includes a short documentary about soprano Pumeza Matshikiza and an essay film shot underwater in the canals of London, which she produced.
Claire studied literature and began her career working as a runner for a VFX house. She went on to assist various film directors on set and worked as a script reader for production and distribution companies whilst making her short films. In 2014 she co-founded Cinesisters.
